The Youth Equip leadership training was really mind blowing. I learned so much about finding what works for you in mentorship relationships. The book reviews were also impactful. They gave me clarity about finding mentors and how you need to let go of hurts and regrets. The learnings are things I will practicalise.

At the Youth Equip training, I was impacted by the conversations I had in my sub group. I learned a lot from the input of the coaches and recognized things that were wrong in my life. I am already improving those areas of my life.

YouthEquip has brought out the best in me. I have learned about leadership, taking responsibility, working well with people, and being committed. That is one thing I have been able to develop on this program – being committed to something and doing it. Coach Nneka’s teaching on managing our emotions really helped me. The prayers also really stretched me and I want to appreciate the organizers of the program. Thank you so much.

God did amazing things when I least expected it. I had been back home from my masters for eight years. I wanted more out of my career as I had done human resources and wanted to veer into corporate communications. After I finished, I worked in a few places, did a lot of free consultations all in the name of building my profile, and even started my own agency, but they were not fulfilling and things were not panning out the way I wanted. Sometime in October, Coach Nneka brought out this confession, and I remember the line that struck me. It said that, ‘You will sit at the table with people you admire from afar.’ I don’t know why that particular line just struck a chord in my heart. I kept confessing it even while working or doing chores around the house. At the beginning of November, I got a call from a former colleague about a job opening and she told me that I would be called for a phone interview. Long story short, I got a job as the Director of Communications with a leading organization where I oversee events that feature international stars and prominent figures from around the globe. The testimony is that I find myself dealing with people that I had previously watched on television, in line with that confession ‘You will sit at the table with people you admire from afar’. I was in rooms where 3 weeks before if you had told me I would be in, I would not have believed it and here I was directing international stars on what to do, where to sit for our press conferences and all. I am amazed at the magnitude of what God is able to do in the life of a man. I wondered, “How did I get here?” Just keep trusting God. When God comes late, He comes big.

My life has taken a shift since I joined MORE Foundation more 2 years ago. All the prayers and teachings from Coach Nneka have impacted my life. I was looking for where to get connected spiritually and that is what I found in this group. Supernatural Protection On December 2022 during the Cross over prayers, Coach Nneka led us to pray against the flood of the enemy. I keyed into this prayer and made it an hedge around my family. On December 22, 2022, my husband was a passenger in a commercial vehicle and there was a fatal accident. It claimed the lives of so many of his co-passengers. God brought my husband out by His mighty hand unscathed. The Lord made it a great testimony because he had just a tiny scratch. The car was wrecked. I don’t know how God did it. I want to appreciate the God of MORE Foundation. He answers prayers. Secondly, I have been asking God for a very good job and I had prayed and waited on God. One day, we had a physical meeting in Lagos and I live in Ogun state, but I had to travel down for the meeting because I knew He had prepared something for me and so, I went there with my baby and connected with the prayers. I prayed with all my heart. God honoured His word in my life and gave me a job in a Polytechnic, something beyond what I was qualified for. I also keyed into the confessions and I needed to go back for my post graduate program and the Lord enabled me to gain admission with the University of Ibadan. The Lord has really strengthened my faith on this platform. The teachings on sowing seeds and finances, and taking our place in the kingdom have really helped me. I return all glory back to God.

I had been in one job position for a long time. I felt comfortable in that place, but I was stagnated. While asking God for an opportunity to move, I was also afraid of moving. I was between the desire to move and the fear of moving to a higher role. So, during one of our prayer meetings at MORE foundation, I said to God, “Lord, I want to move, but I want You to be the one to orchestrate it so that I do not regret my movement.” Suddenly, an opportunity opened up in my office, and my boss came to me and said, “Seyi, I want you to take it.” I objected, “Boss, how will I cope with this.” She said to me, “It is you I want to work with. I want you to take it.” When I got home, the Lord said to me, “You asked Me for an opportunity and I brought it. I need them to know that I am with you in this.” Truly, the Lord has proven His presence with me, and I am having a boss that says I believe in you. I believe in your capacity to do this. I see that as God’s presence with me and I am not scared anymore. And I do my job with utmost joy. The favour of God is at work in my life and I am closer to management. So, I get to contribute to conversations at that level. Praise the Lord!

I remember in November 30th 2022, my husband was not feeling well. He went to the hospital and ran tests. What we thought was probably a malaria fever turned out to be prostate cancer. The medical team told him he should put his house in order because he could die at any time. We went in and out hospitals, from one hospital to the other. He could not pass out urine and his abdomen was distended. It seemed like a movie to me. I wondered how things quickly degenerated to this level. We would return from the hospital, my husband would be sick again and we would go back to the hospital. Before we knew it, he had sepsis and other things we could not explain. One day, I sat in my car and put a text through to Coach Nneka to say: ‘See what I am passing through. I am tired.’ So, she called me and asked, “What are you saying?” and I told her, “I’m just tired!” I remember she set up a call, a prayer meeting where she said, “It’s taken care of.” From that time going forward, we started to hear good news. The result of the biopsy came out. It was not cancer, it was just prostate enlargement. From there, we connected with a specialist that took up my husband’s case and then, my husband got well. Then, the sepsis, one doctor said, “Let’s culture his urine and they identified the microbes and were able to give him the right antibiotics.” Today, my husband is healed and going about his business. I want to thank God, because when I look back, this time last year, my house was very quiet and sad because nobody knew what was going to happen. God has been faithful. God spared his life. God restored everything about him. MORE Foundation has really helped me to be fired up and pray because at that point when I sent the message, I was tired and wondering, “Where next do I go to? What else do I do?” And that corporate prayer really helped to turn things around. God bless Coach Nneka and all the members of this group. You don’t know what it is doing in the lives of people.
